Erin,

Why are you apologizing? What makes you think you are offensive? You are you, and that is what I LOVE reading. If I could make my posts half as engaging or even as creative and fun as yours, I would be in a better place, no?

Listen, I don’t know anyone else who can write about movie reviews and book reviews and all sorts of reviews like you do. I don’t know anyone that makes me laugh with their blog, like you do.

You’re doing fine – - don’t believe me? Ask your inner-guru, not the critic. Crictis are silly.

Never apologize for your opinions, Erin. No, I may not always agree, but they are yours, and you are entitled to them. :)

That said, I read this blog because you are an interesting, funny, kind, and intelligent individual, and I enjoy getting to know you.

I thought Bond was about cars, gadgets, guns, and women! ^__^ But, of course, the Moore films have those aplenty.

MXC is a challenge game show that’s dubbed into (rather rude) English from an ’80s Japanese show called Takeshi’s Castle. It played on Spike or some other men’s TV network, and was hilarious at times.

Don’t change a thing!

I have to say thanks for writing this, my favourite blog.

I was talking to a coworker today and she mentioned that her daughter is a writer. I felt like telling her to pass your link to her daughter to read. But I thought that’d be kinda weird to do so I didn’t. But I should have, it probably would have inspired her daughter to write like you’ve inspired me to read more!

Dr. No felt like it was written to show off some nice locales, but the evil scientist wasn’t evil or devious enough to really make a great enemy, and his evil plot was ridiculous, even for a Bond movie.

I didn’t like Quantum of Solace because it felt like a poor man’s Bourne movie. They tried to make it too ‘epic’ in my mind, and should have narrowed it down a bit.

Moore was cheesey, but ain’t that what Bond is all about?

I totally second Shallyn, and wish I could express my thoughts about your blog that eloquently. I love your blog the way it is because it reflects YOU and that’s what I come here for. Where else can I find a multiplicity of lists, discourse on world issues, random but fabulous quotations, a discussion of the finer points of English grammar and/or linguistics, movie/book commentaries, and a shout out to Count von Count all in the same place?

Honestly, Erin, this blog is great because it gives us all a little window into your life, your quirks, your talents, and your wonderful way with words. Although I don’t comment as much as I could/should, I enjoy every single post you write for different reasons. You already post what I want to read; please keep up the excellent work.

I’ve pretty much enjoyed every post I’ve read. I like the helter skelter, I like the never know what you’re gonna get. I like the lists, and the stories, I like the autobiographical adventures, and the opinions.

I sometimes get lost when you’re talking about certain shows and movies that i’m not familiar with, but your writing style and humour make the things I don’t know about exciting. I often head to wiki or google and am led to new wonderful things.

I wish I could be more critical, but I just like keeping up with you, knowing what you’re thinking about.

I will try to comment more. I will try to start more conversations.

I don’t remember Dr No. Can I ask what you didn’t like about Quantum of Solace? I thought some of the camera work was jarring, and it seemed like a bridge between two movies, but other than that, I really enjoyed it. I find most of Moore’s movies to be eye-rollingly cheesy, and I find his character cold and flippant. And old, ha ha ha. To quote MXC, he was, like, double-oh-seventy ^_^
